Beijing BBEF Electronics Group Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Electronics Holding Co., Ltd. Its predecessor’s Beijing Broadcasting Equipment Factory (No. 761 State-Operated Factory), which’s founded on June 1, 1950. As the first large-scale broadcasting equipment manufacturing enterprise in new China, it had developed China’s first high-power shortwave transmitter, TV transmitter and FM transmitter, and made significant contributions to China’s national radio and TV industry. 

BBEF had gone through reformation as a whole and established limited liability company in 2000. In 2003, it completed integration and restructuring with Beijing Radio, Film and TV Equipment Factory, Beijing BDK Electronics Co., Ltd. and other key enterprises in radio and TV industry, which allowed it to realize ‘integration of three enterprises’ and further increase its scale and strengths. In 2010, based on the country’s industrial policies and development requirements, BBEF and BBEF Science and Technology Co., Ltd. under it had realized specialized operations of industry park real estate and science and technology industry, and the enterprise successfully transformed into a business committed to the operation of S&T and information service industry parks. 

After the transition, BBEF is currently in possession of registered capital of RMB 545 million yuan, total assets of RMB 1 billion yuan, net assets of RMB 800 million yuan and over 550 on-the-job employees. The group’s HQ has got 9 departments, 2 offices and 1 center, which manage and operate 6 industry parks, 1 technology company, 1 property management company and 1 social security stabilization platform. 

In terms of S&T service, BBEF has got 6 industry parks of Madian Creative Industry Park, Jiuxianqiao Science and Technology Innovation Park, Beixinqiao Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Shuangqiao East Industry Park, Nanfaxin and Pinggu Zhenghong, which totally occupy a land of over 320,000m2 and a floor area of around 300,000m2. The 6 industry parks all have their own features and attracted a great number of financial, high-tech, cultural and creative enterprises.

From the perspective of information service, Beijing BDK Electronics Co., Ltd. under BBEF has formed 3 major business sectors of special Purpose vehicle, system integration and digital TV, which enjoy relatively high standard and market share at home and abroad. It’s the country’s designated manufacturer for cable TV network products, TV OB vans and security monitoring equipments.
